Terms and Conditions
We ask parents or legal guardians to read, understand, and agree to these terms. All forms must be completed by the participant’s parent or legal guardian.
Trading As
1. Blackpool Youth Theatre is a trading name of Blackpool Community Theatre CIC.
Classes
2. Children must arrive and be collected on time.
3. enrolment you will be asked to give permission to use images of the participant for Blackpool Youth Theatre promotional purposes. These may be used in publications, for training and archive purposes, online and digital media. Images include footage.
4. Blackpool Youth Theatre aims to provide constructive and entertaining theatre activities for all attendees.
5. To ensure that all attendees have the opportunity to fully engage, please follow the following guidelines: Participants should –
•Arrive on time.
•Dress appropriately by wearing a Blackpool Youth Theatre t-shirt once the three week has ended, comfortable bottoms, and socks. Please take note that there will be no skirts.
•Sweets and chewing gum are not allowed at Blackpool Youth Theatre.
•Ensure their mobile phones are turned off.
•Follow instructions from Blackpool Youth Theatre staff and volunteers.
•Be polite and courteous to all.
•Always behave rationally and responsibly, keeping their own and others’ safety in mind.
6. Blackpool Youth Theatre will not accept bullying or any other sort of abuse. We reserve the right to dismiss or ban participants due to disruptive activity.
7. We shall not be in breach, nor liable for failure to perform, any of our obligations under this agreement if the class is prevented, interrupted or delayed by any cause outside our control including, but not limited to, the virus known as COVID-19
Membership & Other Payments
8. Classes are paid weekly during the three week trial. After this time they are to be paid 4 weeks in advance
9. Membership is required when a participant performs in a performance unless stated otherwise. The annual fee is £20 for each parent or legal guardian, regardless of how many participants they are legally responsible for and are enrolled.
10. Participants are required to purchase a Blackpool Youth Theatre t-shirt once the three-week is over and wear to all sessions and the cost is £12.00.

12. Any personal information you supply as part of your application and agreement will be retained and processed by us in line with data protection laws and our privacy policy for the purposes of administering, developing, and producing the classes rehearsals, or production.

14, Blackpool Youth Theatre is registered with Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) with registration number ZC066211
Medical conditions and additional support
15, Blackpool Youth Theatre accepts participants who have medical conditions, disabilities, or require special support. To ensure that participants have a pleasant, safe, fun, and instructive experience, we must be completely informed of any medical conditions, disabilities, and/or special needs they may have.
16. It is crucial to emphasise that any information you supply will be kept strictly confidential. Applicants will not be evaluated for physical or learning abilities.
17. Please supply full and accurate information. This information will only be used to benefit the participant and ensure a great and pleasurable experience as a participant of Blackpool Youth Theatre.
The Use of Photographs and Footage
18. During enrolment you will be asked to give permission to use images of the participant for Blackpool Youth Theatre promotional purposes. These may be used in publications, for training and archive purposes, online and digital media. Images include footage
19. Blackpool Youth Theatre understands the importance of ensuring the well-being and safety of all participants in its programs. As part of our commitment to participant safety, we will not allow photographs, video, or other images of participants to be taken or utilised without the permission of the parents/guardians (where applicable) and the participant.
20. Blackpool Youth Theatre will adhere to national guidelines for the use of images of children and young people, as well as take all necessary precautions to ensure that these images are used solely for the purpose for which they are intended, namely the promotion and celebration of the participants’ activities at Blackpool Youth Theatre. If you notice these photographs being used inappropriately, please notify Blackpool Youth Theatre immediately.
21. Please keep in mind that participants and audience members will not be permitted to photograph or videotape performances.
22. If either the parent/guardian or the participant wishes to have the data deleted from the website or a publication, they must provide written notice to Blackpool Youth Theatre, and the data will be removed within the proper timeframes.
