We are thrilled to announce an exciting upcoming event that promises to be a highlight of the holiday season! This December, our youth theatre will be presenting the enchanting pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk Jr. This delightful production will star an incredibly talented cast of child actors aged 6 to 17, showcasing not only their amazing skills but also the joy of performance. Other public performances are to be announced soon!

Are you registered to any bodies?
We are registered (under the company name Blackpool Community Theatre CIC) with Companies House, regulated by The Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies and registered with Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO under Data Protection Act 1998.
Who owns the community theatre?
We are owned by David Baker, a professional entertainer, actor and teacher with more than 27 years in the professional entertainment industry. He is a member of trade union Equity and is Enhanced DBS checked and on the Update Service, which enables him to keep his certificate up to date.
Are you a charity?
No, but we are very similar to a charity since we are not for profit and are about giving back to the community such as fundraising for charities and other CICs and community service in and around Blackpool.

Who can join?
Children aged 6-17 are welcome to attend our youth theatre, however currently we only have acting classes for age groups 6-9 and 10-14. We will be holding auditions for ages 6-17 for our pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk JR in August 2026
What productions are you doing this year?
This year’s pantomime is Jack and the Beanstalk Jr. We will be holding auditions in August and our performances will be in December. Venue to be announced but will be in Blackpool. More productions are TBA later in the year.
